Exhilarating views and a vertical perspective you may not have thought possible!

This tour combines glacier hiking with mountain climbing. Your guide will give you detailed instructions on the use of equipment and technique for ascending. Hike past the bottom of the Whistler glacier to the base of the Via Ferrata route. Using a special lanyard system you will clip yourself onto the cable and climb the rock headwall using a series of ladder rungs that lead you to the summit of Whistler Peak. Climbing a Via Ferrata does not require any special skills or prior experience. This thrilling activity is suitable for guests of all abilities. 

The price of the tour does not include a gondola ticket. Gondola tickets are available for purchase through our office.

Important Information

  • No experience is necessary, however, mild fitness is required. Suitable for most children ages 12 and up.
  • Families with children under the age of 12 must book a private tour. 
  • All equipment is included although participants are expected to be dressed appropriately for the weather. 
  • Large group bookings are welcome!
