Glacier Discovery - Group

This summer, discover a Canadian glacier atop Whistler Mountain. Take a walk in the natural mountain landscape which was sculpted by ice and volcanoes thousands of years ago! On this walking tour, you'll be outfitted with a helmet and an ice axe. Your guide will teach you how to walk on snow using glacier equipment, then you'll take a tour around the Whistler Glacier. Along the way, you will travel back 10,000 years to learn about the formation of the Coast Mountain’s glaciers. This popular interpretive tour is great for people of all ages and abilities, especially families with younger children (8 years and up). No experience is necessary. Price does NOT include gondola ticket.

For adults and families with older children, the more adventurous Glacier Ascent (hike) is recommended.
